Michael Cole says that the most effective practice is that the guy who controls the environment has the first look.

Triple H welcomes the group to Corpus Christi for Friday Night SmackDown and the WWE Draft 2023. Before we begin, he wants to lay out some ground rules. Each Superstar can be edited. 50% of the team can be assembled tonight. Another 50 will be prepared raw on Monday night.

Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will produce and compete on SmackDown for the first time. The bloodline continues with SmackDown!

Triple H explains why the new World Heavyweight Champion could be unique to Monday Night Raw.
The top pick of the night on Raw is "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes.

Triple h tells the band to sing the "WHOA" part of Rhodes' theme song while changing it to "Reduce Off". SmackDown's next pick is Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belaire.
The next choice goes to Crude.

This ends the first round. During the second round, inside the lower back of the action. Triple H introduces what he believes is a quality tag team that will challenge for the titles that night, The Usos.
Jimmy and Jey Uso go out for the diploma.

Jey Uso says, "It's in your town now!" Jimmy Uso congratulates "Chief of the Tribe" Roman Reigns for the #1 pick in 2023. People are breathing. Jey says he knows Reigns is watching at home.

Tonight they will give The Bloodline less gold below. Jimmy says they realize Reigns isn't happy with them right now. They haven't heard from him because of Reality WrestleMania. 

They would give the win of the night to Roman Reigns as they would eventually become a nine time tag team champion.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are 2 and they are 1's

WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn arrive at the prom and spend the night with their fellow wrestlers. The song "Sámi" moves up. Zain says he is not here to entertain them or talk to them.

Zayn actually has one last thing to say. Why don't The Usos think they defeated The Usos as part of the WrestleMania main event and Roman Reigns didn't talk to them because of reality? They gave Reigns tonight, but didn't they see what they really saw? 

Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman and Solo Sykoa were drafted to SmackDown in, but now they are not drafted to The Usos. No family tree.

Zayn says they're going with the titles, but Jey interrupts to say they're not going with anything. Jimmy says Owens will turn his back on Zayn when they win the titles. 

Owens says he's sick of the attention on all this crap. All Owens cares about is getting The Usos in the ring, defeating them and defending their titles!

Smackdown is a professional wrestling television program that airs on Fridays on the Fox network. Produced with the help of  WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), it is a mix of scripted storylines and live wrestling costumes created with the help of  WWE Superstars.

 The first real SmackDown episode  aired on April 29, 1999 and  featured many WWE stars including Triple H, The Rock, Stone Cold, Steve Austin, The Undertaker and many others. . .

 The show became an instant hit and helped establish SmackDown as one of the gold-tier wrestling models in the world. 

Since then, countless WWE stars have appeared on SmackDown over the years, including legends like Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan, in addition to top stars like Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks and Drew McIntyre.
